Chainsaw Training at Todds Leap
Chainsaws and allied cutting equipment are very versatile tools with a variety of uses. But they are also potentially very dangerous. Serious accidents can and do occur without proper training, or because operators have not kept their skills up to scratch.
What the Law says about using a Chainsaw
Proper training is not only essential but a legal requirement if you're planning on using a chainsaw.The Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (PUWER ) require employers to provide adequate training and to ensure that chainsaws are only used by by employees who have received the appropriate certified training in their safe use.
Todds Leap provide both Lantra approved and NPTC assessed courses. CS30 & CS31 courses are a prerequisite to all other chainsaw courses. This course is 5 days and the NPTC assessment is taken outside the five days training. Learning materials will be supplied prior to the course.

- Course Cost: £300 + VAT pp SPECIAL OFFER SAVE £45PP
- Extras: CS31 Assessment £116, Assessment will be taken either on the Friday afternoon or the following week depending on the candidates ability and experience.
