150 years ago, Benjamin Todd, a renegade Irishman of local renown, escaped his pursuers with a reckless leap on horseback across a deep, yawning gorge near the village of Ballgawley, in County Tyrone.
Ever since then, that spot has been known as Todd’s Leap.
Today, at Toddsleap.com, you can relive the gut-busting excitement of Todd’s dash for freedom over these very same hills – but at 75mph in a 4x4.
This is a 100 acre, purpose built off-road activity centre like no other. Its aim – to take you to the edge and beyond; to test your stamina and your nerve, to give you the most fun you’ve ever had with your clothes on.
